This Privacy Policy explains how EasyMeta Pty Ltd (ABN 83 664 794 781) (“EasyMeta”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the PhonicsJoy app (the “App”).
Your learning progress, lesson and practice history, daily check-ins, app settings, and voice recordings remain on your device. We do not upload or sync this learning data to our servers. Removing the App or clearing its data may permanently delete it.
You can use the free learning content without an account. If you create an account or use PRO features, we handle only the information needed to provide those services:

These providers process information under their own privacy terms and may process it outside Australia. We do not sell personal information and do not include third-party advertising or behavioural-analytics SDKs in the App.
Account and entitlement information is kept while needed to provide your account and PRO access. You can delete your account in the App after re-authentication, or request account deletion by emailing privacy@easymeta.au from the address associated with the account.
After a valid deletion request, we delete or de-identify account information that is no longer required. We permanently retain only a minimal deny-list record containing the store platform, environment, transaction lineage identifier, and deletion time. This record is not linked to an active account profile and is used only to prevent a store transaction associated with a deleted account from being claimed by a new account. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; subscriptions must be managed in the applicable store.
Local learning data is separate from your account and remains on your device unless you remove it using device or App controls.
PhonicsJoy is designed for learners of all ages. Children can use the local learning experience without providing an account. The account and PRO information described above is handled only when those optional features are used. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted database permissions, and server-side store verification designed to protect account and subscription information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may use free content without creating an account, sign out at any time, manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google, and contact us to access, correct, or delete personal information where applicable. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply.
We may update this policy when the App, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
